Refreshing your Soul Space for the winter season

It’s been a while since I’ve been in touch.  On October 7th, my world came to a screeching halt when Israel was attacked by Hamas terrorist.  Thank God my family is OK.  I do have three boys now serving in the military (two of them got called back for reserve service).  They all are in elite units, so needless to say, there have been many sleepless nights for me.

I am a soul-based woman.  I try and lead my life from this point.  I guess you could say I’m all heart.

My motivation is to create a fun, beautiful space with good energy for myself and my loved ones. Creating the memories and stories that you always carry with you. This is it for me. Everything tells a story in my home.  I’d like to help you create that for yourself.  I truly believe it’s all about the baby steps.

This is Creating Your Soul Space!

It’s funny how coming back to my work really helps me get out of my head and stay in a more positive vibration.  So, I’ve decided to start writing a monthly blog to help you stay connected to your Soul Space and help you create you’re soft place to fall for every soul in your home.

Connecting with the season

As we go into winter and prepare for the holidays, I’d like to suggest you take some time to reconnect with your space (I try to do this with every season).  You do that by taking inventory and deciding what no longer makes your heart sing.  Once you’ve reconnected and edited the things that no longer serve you, you’ll have space physically and energetically ready to incorporate things that will inject new life into your room.  There are so many easy ways to do this without going through a major renovation.

The way I suggest you start this process is by taking one room on at a time.  Commit to a deep clean by making sure everything in the room is dusted and cleaned.  As you do this, ask yourself if you really still love the piece.  Most of the time there are several pieces that you are ready to let go of.  Now that you’ve reconnected and de-cluttered the space will be calling for a little more TLC.

With winter in mind, you can revamp your indoor plants. Ivy is a nice one for this season.  I also love to go on walks and find what gifts nature is giving me.  Pine cones make a lovely accent.  You can place them in a clear glass vase and get as creative as you want.  Maybe even spray painting them your favorite color.  Another nice touch is to swap out your accent pillows for new ones with a more winter feel.  Little things like adding a new throw to cozy up to will warm up the energy.  One of my favorites and super easy is scented candles.  Ikea is my go-to for this.  I was there this week and they even had a fireplace scented candle.

I hope you found this helpful.  Feel free to set up a discovery call if you want to dive a little deeper.

Wishing you a peaceful season full of miracles and light.
