Once their children had grown older, this family decided to gift themselves a home makeover. As a sea-loving family, they wanted to ensure that this aspect of their lives could be incorporated into the design. It was important to them to feel a sense of tranquility in their home; much like you feel when you sit by the ocean. The inspiration for this design came from a beloved picture of their children surfing. This image portrayed the calmness that they desired, and with a clever use of colors and materials, we were able to pull that feeling from the image itself and integrate it into the home.

As a family with strong values, they wanted each member of their family to have their individual personalities reflected throughout the home, creating a very personal and supportive atmosphere for adults.
